Ben Rodney is a resident of Toronto, Ontario. Mr. Rodney has been with RFA Capital Partners since 1997 and most recently his duties have focused on the growth RFA Capital where he is President.

During his time with RFA Capital, Mr. Rodney has incubated and grown multiple real estate business platforms, including a commercial portfolio through Nexus REIT (NXR.UN) of more than 4 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial assets; a retirement home platform (Horizon) with over 2,000 beds across Quebec and Ontario; and various debt platforms including construction loans, direct residential mortgage purchases, and the launch of RFA Mortgage Corporation, a residential mortgage finance company.
As the largest buyer of non-investment grade bonds in CMBS transactions, RFA Capital has structured, priced and performed due diligence on over $15 billion of Canadian commercial and residential mortgages under Mr. Rodney’s leadership.

Mr. Rodney has a Masters of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
